You may have questions about the recently announced ‘phase 1’ visitation requirements for nursing homes. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can within clinical and medical standards of care to help residents and families journey toward visitation.
As you know, we are responsible for the health and well-being of all those under our roof, both residents and employees, and this is not a responsibility we take lightly. While we still have yet to fully understand COVID-19, one thing is certain, nursing homes are a key battleground in the fight against the pandemic. We know these times are unprecedented and the current circumstances are difficult, but we will get through this together.
We want you to know that we will continue to follow local, state, federal, and CDC guidelines for infection control and prevention. We will also continue to go above and beyond what is considered necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our community, families, and key partners trust us with the most vulnerable residents in our society, and we consider their health and safety our highest priority.
